It was never an easy life for Jessie and William Bond and their appearance in the 1891 census is no exception.
After much searching, the family is finally found in the 5 April 1891 census records, although not together.

I can’t find any signs of Jessie Bond in the Montreal directories from 1894 until 1900 but I know that she married Thomas? Sullivan (although the 1901 census says Thimotee, groom) before 1901.
In 1900/1901 to 1901/1902 Sullivan, Thomas, a groom, is listed at 9 St Genevieve in Saint-Antoine, Montreal.

I just received the two marriage certificates for William Bond and Jessie Williams and to my great surprise, they are both for my William and my Jessie!
The first marriage takes place on the Isle of Wight in the Methodist church.  William ’says’ he is a plumber and glazier which is what he was *before* he enlisted in the Royal Artillery.   [...]
